Fine tuning
Our new home is starting look like a home. Last weekend we did some fine tuning to our preschooler's room. Noticeboard and pencil jar got a new look with some masking tape and the beautiful fox mask from Paloni found a place on the wall.

Concrete dining table
Here is a table I could definitely see in my house. I just need to win the lottery first... It's a nice combination of concrete and wood made by Swedish company Forsberg Form in co-operation with Kvarnen Studio.

Party Saturday
The best way to throw a party is to decide in the morning to do so. No time to stress and just fun. That's what we did today.

Small treasures
I did a small shopping trip to Tiger and found a white cardboard suitcase, house shaped drawing paper, black and white case for my sunglasses and a super cute sandwich puzzle... and all for a great price!

City of staples
Bored at work? Here's something you could try. Ephemicropolis is an art piece by artist Peter Root and it's made of 100 000 staples. Impressive!

Pressu chair
I need a new kitchen table but all I keep finding is more chairs. I'm currently very fond of this Avarte's Pressu-chair by Yrjö Kukkapuro. I like the simplicity and lightness of it. The frame is made of tubular steel and upholstery of stretched canvas. It was designed 1972 but is still in production. Unfortunately I've spent my budget, so it will have to wait...

Porcelain enamel by Riess
There's something about old fashioned porcelain enamel cookware that I like. Maybe it brings back the memories of summer cottage or grandmother's kitchen. These nice enamel jars and pot are made by Austrian company Riess who has a long tradition in making them. Enamel porcelain is great for healthier cooking since it does not emit any harmful substances even at high temperatures. I sure would like that white pot in my kitchen! They are sold here.

Marimekko autumn by Kaapo Kamu
There is still a lot of summer left but I'm also a big fan of early fall when nights get darker and the air cooler. That's maybe why I'm so taken with Kaapo Kamu's photos of Marimekko's Autumn 2012.
