DIY joulukalenteri

4. Ripusta kaikki paketit nipuksi oksaan tai keppiin.

There is still time to make a simple diy Advent calendar. All you need is brown wrapping paper, a sewing machine and some sweets to hide inside.

Erik Olovsson calendar

Our household relies on Erik Olovsson's year calender. We've had his calendars for several years now and why change since it works? The wall calendar for 2015 is now available and there are some nice new calendars too.
---
Meillä on vannottu tämän kätevän Erik Olovssonin seinäkalenterin nimeen jo muutava vuosi ja nyt on aika taas tilata uusi ensi vuodelle. Kätevässä kalenterissa koko vuoden ja tulevat kuukaudet näkee kerralla ja kiva ulkonäkö on tietysti plussaa. Ensi vuodeksi malleja on tullut muitakin joten kannattaa käydä katsomassa.

Studio Esinam

Since there is not much travelling in sight at the moment, at least I can dream about these lovely city prints by Swedish Studio Esinam.
---

Paper art by Maud Vantours

I've always been a big fan of paper art. These incredible paper works are made by Paris based Maud Vantours who uses layer upon layer of paper to create patterns and textures. Her beautiful work can also be seen in set designs for big international brands such as Guerlain and Tag Heuer.
---
Paperitaide on aina ollut minusta kiehtovaa. Pariisissa työskentelevä Maud Vantours tekee uskomattoman hienoja teoksia erivärisistä kerroksista paperia ja luo niistä myös lavasteita isoille brändeille kuten Guerlain tai Tag Heuer.

Let's wrap!

All these beauties are wrapping papers. You can buy them from Wrap which is also a super good looking magazine introducing the very best in illustration and design. Every issue also includes sheets of wrapping paper from most talented illustrators at the moment. The latest issue is inspired by the Nordic countries and  many Finnish illustrators such as Janine Rewell and Klaus Haapaniemi are well represented in the magazine.

New home

We will have a new home soon. We bought an apartment in an old row house and now my head is filled with renovation ideas. It's both exciting and exhausting: So many things to do. First time in my life I will have a garden too and it makes me panic a bit, because I have absolutely no gardening skills. I guess now it's time to learn...
